9 Piece T-Top Weatherstrip Kit
Restore the weatherstripping on your T-Top Mustang with this 1981-1986 Mustang 9-piece T-top weatherstrip kit! This complete kit includes every piece you need to restore the rubber around your T-tops. Through the years, your weatherstrip will dry rot and wear out from continuous removal of the t-top glass. This kit will ensure your interior is sealed up tight from all the exterior elements that harm your Mustang.

1981-83 Model Product Note
Ford shortened the T-top body weatherstrip as an improvement for 1984-86 models because the longer jamb seal originally used on 1981-83 models made the doors hard to shut. On 1981-83 cars, the seal will appear about 13" shorter than the original in the jamb area, but your doors will shut much more easily, and sealing will not be affected.

T-Top
To determine the build date of your Mustang, please refer to the date on the upper left corner of your VIN sticker located in your driver's door jamb. If a VIN sticker is not available, please refer to the following measurements. These measurements reference the length of the pillar-post portion of the t-top weatherstrip.

• Some early 1981-82 T-top Mustangs had pillars approximately 23" long. For these applications, glue down the extra 3" of weatherstrip.
