Brake Hose Bolt Washer, Copper for 1964-1973 Mustang & 1968-1973 Cougar Except 1967 with Disc Brakes.

These copper washers can be used on both drum & disc brake applications, except 1967 with (4 piston) disc brakes. They allow the brake hose to seal to the mounting surface they are attached to.

These washers are used as differential carrier washers on 8" & 9" Ford rear ends. In this capacity they help to seal bolt holes where the carrier bolts into the rear-end housing.

1964 - 1966 Disc Brake - 1 per hose

1968 - 1973 Disc Brake - 2 per hose

1964 - 1973 Drum Brake - 1 per hose

NOTE: 1967 Calipers used a larger thread, (WASHER-12) so if you have Kelsey Hayes calipers and they aren't the factory ones for your car (Bought in a new or used conversion perhaps) then please check the sizing first.
