1964-1970 Upper Control Arm Grease Fitting Kit, includes 4 Zirk Fittings & Instructions

To prevent upper ”A” arm suspension failure and ultimately prevent shock towers from cracking, you must lube the upper ”A” arms on a regular basis. Getting a grease gun on a 1964½-1966 Mustang upper ”A” arm is hard enough even with a standard 90 degree grease fitting, but there is not enough clearance on a 1967-1968 for a conventional 90 degree fitting. And if upper ”A” arms are not properly lubricated at all times, they can get dry and seize up. But long before they seize up they can get tight and when they move up and down they will add increased stress to the shock towers. It doesn't take long for stress cracks to eminate outward from the ”A” arm bolt holes in the shock towers and when this happens, no amount of welding short of installing new shock towers will help. And you're likely going to be staring at 1 ½ tons of scrap metal, and wishing you would have installed our zirk fitting lube kit long ago. An ounce of prevention can save you millions.
